Q.  Why do we only drink milk from cows and not other animals such as pigs?  [Asher]

A.  The Rabbis learn from the verse ‘A land flowing with milk and honey’ that we’re allowed to drink milk.  However, this permission is limited to milk that comes from kosher animals such as cows or goats and not from any animals such as pigs which the Torah tells us isn’t kosher.  [Children's Rabbi]
